"All You Need is Love" JohnLennon1967 Below Left: The Beatles perform while John sings All You Need is Love live before a 200+ million person audience in the First EVER Live Worldwide Television Broadcast on June 25, 1967 on the TV show called Our World. Note the hand written lyrics for this song, All You Need is Love, are sitting on the metal music stand right in front of John during the performance... this actual set of handwritten lyrics sold on 7/29/2005 at Christie's in London for just over $1,000,000 USD!!! Also note John's special Talisman necklace which he placed on top of his head for luck just for this special performance!! John wore this necklace nearly every day for a couple of years then gave it to Magic Alex as a gift. This special necklace recently sold at auction for $528,000 USD!! Below Right: The Beatles sing and play in one of the first rock videos ever made... the song is RAIN and the year is 1966.
